1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website https://isletpicks.co.uk/ (the “Site”) and your purchase of products from the Site. By using the Site or placing an order, you accept these Terms in full.

2. About Us

Islet Picks (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a UK-based online retailer operated by a sole trader. We import household and lifestyle goods from Japan and Asia and sell them to consumers in the UK via the Site. Our contact email: hello@isletpicks.co.uk.

3. Eligibility to Purchase

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into contracts. By placing an order, you confirm you are eligible.

4. Products, Descriptions & Pricing

  • We endeavour to display accurate product information, including description, material, size and price.

  • Prices displayed are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.

  • We reserve the right to modify prices or withdraw products at any time without prior notice.

5. Orders & Payment

  • When you place an order, you will receive email confirmation of your order details.

  • Payment is taken at the point of ordering via [Payment providers, e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal].

  • Your order constitutes an offer to buy. We may accept or decline your order for any reason (e.g., stock availability, pricing error). Acceptance occurs when we dispatch the product.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates only; we are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control (e.g., courier issues, external disruptions).

  • Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you when you take physical possession of the goods.

7. Returns & Refunds

  • Non-returnable goods: perishable goods (food & beverages), cosmetic & skincare items once opened, clearance items marked “non-returnable”.

8. Product Safety & Compliance

  • You acknowledge that imported products may have non-UK original packaging. We ensure that all goods sold comply with required UK safety rules (UKCA/CE where applicable).

  • Some items may have supplemental English labels we add as the importer.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content, trademarks, logos, product photos on the Site are our property or used under licence. You may not reproduce or use them without our written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods.

  • We exclude liability for any indirect or consequential loss (loss of profits, business interruption etc.).

  • Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
